This policy explains what personal data W-profit collects, why, where it comes from, who we share it with and what choices you have. It covers our website w-profit.com (including the demo games on it), our contact form, our business outreach to people working in the games industry (on LinkedIn and by email), and the business contacts of our clients and partners.
1. Who we are
W-profit is the business name of Nikita Gurovskiy, Licensed Dealer (Osek Murshe), Israel — a VAT-registered sole proprietor. We decide how and why the personal data described here is used (we are the “controller”).
Address: Ben Yehuda 35, Tel Aviv 6380707, Israel.
Contact for any privacy question or request:
hello@w-profit.com.
We handle personal data in line with the Israeli Privacy Protection Law and, where they apply, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR.
2. Business outreach to people in the games industry
We make video and playable ad creatives for game developers and publishers. We contact people whose work is related to this — for example in user acquisition, performance marketing, creative and marketing roles — to offer our services.
What we use: your name, job title, company, city and country, your LinkedIn profile address and the information you made public on it, public LinkedIn activity related to your work (for example, engaging with posts about mobile games or user acquisition), your work email address, the messages we exchange, our notes about these conversations, and whether you opened a demo link we sent you (see section 4).
Where it comes from:
- public professional profiles and activity on LinkedIn, found through lead-discovery, sales-intelligence and LinkedIn outreach tools;
- work email addresses from business contact data providers, from the data enrichment of our CRM system, or from earlier correspondence with you or your company;
- public information about your company (its website, app store pages, news).
If you ask, we will tell you the specific source of your data.
Why and on what basis: to send you a small number of messages about services relevant to your role, and to continue the conversation if you reply. We rely on our legitimate interest in offering our services to businesses (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We only contact people about matters related to their professional role, keep the number of messages low and make it easy to say no.
Automated tools: we use software, including AI models, to select the people we contact (based on role, company and public professional activity) and to draft messages. A person reviews every message before it is sent. We do not make any decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Saying no: reply “no” to any of our messages or write to hello@w-profit.com, and we will stop contacting you on every channel. We then keep only a minimal record (your name, email address or LinkedIn profile and the date) so that we do not contact you again.
How long: up to 24 months after our last interaction, unless you become a client or ask us to delete your data earlier. The “do not contact” record is kept for as long as it is needed to respect your choice.
3. Website visitors and the contact form
Contact form. When you send a request through the form on our site, we receive your name, email address, the service you are interested in and anything you write. We use this to reply and to discuss possible work with you (steps before a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries). We keep it for up to 24 months after our last contact, or longer if we start working together.
Analytics and cookies. Our site uses Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager), the LinkedIn Insight Tag and, on some pages, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how the site is used and to measure the results of our advertising. These services use cookies and similar technologies and receive data such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, the time of the visit, the page or campaign that brought you to us and whether you opened or sent the contact form. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and manage ad settings in your LinkedIn and Facebook accounts. The site also uses a few technical cookies that it needs to work (for example, to remember that you closed the cookie notice).
Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical access logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser) for security and troubleshooting. These logs are kept for a short period.
4. Demo games and personal links
Our site hosts small browser games that show how we think about ad creatives (for example, Inbox Defense and Thumb-Stop). They do not use cookies or ask you to sign up.
If we send you a link to a game in a message, the link may contain a short code that is unique to you. When you open it, we can see that the link was opened and how the game went: whether you played, how far you got, your score, whether you shared or copied the link, and the type of device (mobile, desktop or the LinkedIn app). The game logs do not store your IP address. We use this to see whether our message was useful and to improve our games and messages (our legitimate interest). Game logs are kept for 90 days; a short summary may be stored with our outreach records (see section 2).
5. Clients and partners
We use the business contact details of the people we work with at our clients and partners (name, role, work email, messages, invoices) to provide our services, communicate and keep our accounts. We keep this data for as long as we work together and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
6. Who we share personal data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business and that process it on our behalf or as independent providers of the data listed in section 2. Most of them are located in the United States, the United Kingdom or the European Union:
- our CRM system provider;
- sales engagement, LinkedIn outreach automation and lead-discovery platforms;
- business contact data providers and an email address verification service, which checks that an address can receive email;
- our email and office software provider;
- AI model providers, used to draft messages and analyse information about companies;
- website hosting, analytics and advertising measurement providers (Google, LinkedIn and Meta).
We may also disclose personal data if the law, a court or a government authority requires it, or to protect our legal rights.
7. International transfers
We are based in Israel, which the European Commission and the UK recognise as providing an adequate level of data protection. Some of our service providers are located in other countries, including the United States. Where such transfers need a legal safeguard, they rely on an adequacy decision, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses offered by the provider.
8. Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you can ask us to:
- tell you whether we hold data about you, give you a copy and tell you where it came from;
- correct inaccurate data;
- delete your data;
- restrict how we use it;
- stop using it for direct marketing — you can object at any time and we will stop;
- object to other processing based on our legitimate interests;
- give you the data you provided to us in a portable format;
- withdraw any consent you have given.
Write to hello@w-profit.com. We usually answer within a week and always within one month. You can also complain to the Privacy Protection Authority of Israel or to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.
9. Security
We protect personal data with reasonable technical and organisational measures: access is limited to people who need it for their work, accounts are protected, and our systems keep only the data they need.
10. Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed at people under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, tools or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
